Who actually remembers one of the more recent times Birmingham froze over for a few days, and the power went out. I lived about The patio at Rojo’s restaurant there were more than a few people who had walked or biked several miles through the snow to drink since they didn’t have power at home, and Rojo’s had gas cooking, and alcohol. So they were open during the day. It was just hilarious to see people outside in snow suits drinking around the tables making friends and watching outer people playing in the snow with cardboard sleds in the park. Or having snowball fights then coming back to get beers with new friends. The dominoes was also delivering pizzas if you would come meet them half way since lots of the roads were blocked by cars and ice and they were out walking or biking the pizzas places. Post apocalyptic Birmingham is going to be interesting.
